This means that they need reloading fairly often when printing something big. During the day, Computer Systems staff are around to reload paper. However, if you are printing something big overnight or over the weekend, it is rude to expect other users to keep loading new paper for you. It is also unwise; your printout may well sit there over the weekend, waiting for someone to load paper. With other users' small printouts waiting behind it, too. Those other users get quite upset about this, with good reason. If you are printing something large (over 100 pages, say) in off-hours, YOU should be there loading paper. If you don't know how, any Computer Systems staff member can show you; it's easy. -- Henry Spencer @ U of Toronto Zoology {allegra,ihnp4,linus,decvax}!utzoo!henry
