f sensitive relay device that I can adjust to a low threshold that
will pull the plug on such nastiness.  Either auto-reset after time delay or
manual is fine.

BTW: I'm planning to shell out ~ $535 for a 1000va Sola line regulator anyway.
I'd still put the dip-detector on the output for safety.
