How can I get ball-point pen ink out of beige leather car seats?

My wife has this frustrating habit of getting small spots of blue
ink on her hands and then on the steering wheel or seat. She says
the pens at work are awful, and I have given her the same pens I
use, (I don't have this problem) but the ink still magically 
migrates to the leather. I have decided that no amount of anger
or demands are worth it or effective in stopping this,

I just need to get the ink out of the leather!
