Message-ID: <124@uab_cs.UUCP> Date: Fri, 5-Apr-85 15:28:10 EST Article-I.D.: uab_cs.124 Posted: Fri Apr 5 15:28:10 1985 Date-Received: Sun, 7-Apr-85 03:45:51 EST Organization: Univ. of Ala, Bhm. Lines: 21 Xref: watmath net.decus:105 net.info-terms:549 net.graphics:711 TWIMC: I am using a DEC vt125 terminal with the ReGIS capabilities. I am trying to utilize the (purported) color capability of the vt125. Here is a description of the problem: According to the documentation 6 bits/pixel are allocated for the external monitor. (2 ea R,G,B) This should give 64 colors. Now, try and try again I can only display 4 *different* colors *at one time*. Initially I surmised that since the HLS color model is segmented into 64 groups that I wasn't properly specifying the writing sequence (i.e [ w(i(h l s)) ]. Has anyone encountered this problem and solved it ? I would GREATLY appreciate any help guidance and/or examples of code that can display the said 64 colors.
