I'm still fighting with the terminal driver code. Apparently, nobody at UniPress has Ambassador terminals -- otherwise why would the released driver code screw up the terminal setup bits so frightfully? Whenever I terminate or suspend Gosmacs, I can only type characters with even (or is it odd?) parity. New logic was added to force a total redraw of the screen if over two lines are to be deleted when > 9600 BAUD for ALL terminals!! Can somebody at UniPress justify this pointless castration of Gosling's display optimization? Believe it or not, that code works fairly well, provided effort is spent getting the parameters right! I'll be glad to post our near-total rewrite of the Ambassador display code when its ready, provided there's interest. BTW, my frustration with Gosmacs comes from the fact that I like it so much. Sorry for the flames. -michael
