My feeling is that as long as I can understand what you want me to understand then spell it as it comes off your fingertip(s) It takes longer to go back and correct speling errors than it does to blast forward getting your ideas across. I want to hear other peoples opinions, I want to read news, I don't want to criticise speling. Why speling? Well, the US version of English includes such words as signaling, dialing in which we Brits include a nextra(sic?) 'l' so why shouldnt I drop one out of speling? Did any of you expect this article to be other than about spelling? Its only a mild flame so I suppose I will get mail teling me not to use net.flame unless I am really flaming, So flame at me! -- If there are any views expressed above, they are my own, not those of my employer who won't have netnews installed so I have to come to AT&T Bell Labs, Indian Hill just to read it, ihnp4!ihlpg!jcgowl Roger R. Gowland at AT&T Bell Labs, IH and going home Friday to ... hvlpa!hvmga!rgowland at APT UK.
