Lines: 18 Ken Arndt works for a successful industrial enterprise (DEC). Most of his detractors "work" either in academic environments or for "public-utility- mentality" concerns (to wit, AT&T). This goes a long way towards explaining the difference between the self-confident, independent writings of Mr. Arndt and the hysterical, mealy-mouthed bleatings of his opponents.
