I have noticed the screaming kid phenomenon and many variations
on that theme; apparently, many parents feel that the rest of
society is under some sort of obligation to help them raise
their children--such things as subsidized school lunches, cheaper
rates on lots of things, etc.; I mean, anyone who doesn't
just absolutely adore children must be some sort of scumbag, right?
The response I have gotten to complaints runs like: " I have my
rights, too, which I define to include letting my kids run amok".
