R+D, Santa Monica Lines: 12 Summary: Another more or less standard way of limiting a mage's ability to make potions/enchanted swords/etc. is to have each such item tie up one of the mage's Intelligence points (or Talent points, Power points, whatever), thereby lowering his overall spellcasting ability. This system can also be used to limit the number of Undead a Necromancer or Evil Cleric can control. Spelling Nitpick: Manna is the food that rained down on the Hebrews in the desert.
