Among the few respondents were a couple of requests to post anything of interest that I found out, so here it is. The cheapest and (so far) most informative source that I have found is the April issue of PC Tech Journal. They have a fairly extensive covering of the EGA (addresses, assembly interface) and the monitor. The two other sources which I have not seen are the updates to the IBM Options and Adapters Reference Manual (I've heard prices for the manual that range between $125 and $175), and the Nov '84 PC Seminar Proceedings (vol. 2 I believe). Incidentally, the Tech Journal's review of the EGA is VERY positive, assuming that one can afford the EGA's (and monitor's) price tag.
