The reply basically recommends alternative antenna configurations rather than radials for the existing one, but goes through quite a lot of "intuitive antenna theory" in the process. Thus the length (250 lines or so) which inhibited me from appalling the entire net with it. I would specifically appreciate comments on the long form by any sufficiently addicted antenna theorists that they would be unable to resist reading it! 73, John S., W3IKG
