Lines: 22 Keywords: XNS, LAN, Ethernet, Software I'm hunting for information on commercial implementations of the XNS protocol suite. In particular, ones that can be upgraded to include TCP/IP, and that can use multibus controllers. We use UNIX Sys V/68, and reasonable amount of reworking (including developing drivers) is not out of line. I know of two products: * NRC's FUSION. We have their stuff in-house, and I am rather displeased at the thought of continuing to work with it. Their support has been execrable, amid other problems. (I understand I missed a discussion a month or two ago about NRC. Could someone summarise it for me?) They DO provide utilities, though. * INTERLAN's ITP stuff. Runs under Sys V, can use their smart board, and I know little else. Of course, I'll summarise what I find and repost to net.lan. -- Dave Brownell EnMasse Computer Corporation enmasse!dave@Harvard.ARPA {genrad, harvard}!enmasse!dave
