I am trying to reach a friend at Digital in Chicago electronically but
it seems that there is no interface that can be figured out by either
him or myself to get from Unix mail to the internal Digital VMS mail
(and vica-versa).  His machine is known chev02, or more cryptically 
as "_34838::" for a decnet address.  I tried bouncing both of these 
through !decvax but no luck.

Can anyone out there please tell me by mail how we can get from here
to there.  I'll post a solution for this problem for others to
reference.  Thanks, and please respond by mail since this is not one
of the newsgroups that I normally visit.
