Message-ID: <469@wanginst.UUCP> Date: Mon, 8-Apr-85 15:40:42 EST Article-I.D.: wanginst.469 Posted: Mon Apr 8 15:40:42 1985 Date-Received: Tue, 9-Apr-85 04:29:08 EST Distribution: net Organization: Wang Institute, Tyngsboro, Ma. 01879 Lines: 16 Has anyone (successfully) ported macput and/or macget to an MS-DOS machine? Anyone have any thoughts on doing so? The purpose of this is to simplify the transfer of images from a Wang Professional Imaging Computer (PIC) to MacPaint. Currently, we make a MacPaint-format file on the PIC, then use VT-100 emulation on a Wang PC and MacTerminal on the Mac to move the file. Then, we use Set File to change the file type/creator. With macput, we should be able to send directly from the PIC, and not have to use Set File.
