(Using prompt $e[33;40m prompt $p$g does the trick.) This works well for specifying screen colors when in DOS. When I enter the "simterm" communications program*, the first few lines (prolog) are displayed in my specified colors, but then everything else is white on black. When I exit simterm, my dos text comes out fine in the right colors. I tried having simterm write the ansi escape sequence to turn on colors (e.g., esc [ 33 ; 40 m), but simterm interprets this as a home-brew escape sequence. Any ideas on how to|` get color in simterm? *simterm is written by Jim Holtman and son. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ron Levenberg Bell Communications Research (Bellcore) 3 Corporate Place Room 2C-315 Piscataway, NJ 08854 (201) 981-6178 ..!allegra!pyuxqq!ral
