Message-ID: <1009@phs.UUCP> Date: Sun, 31-Mar-85 23:13:58 EST Article-I.D.: phs.1009 Posted: Sun Mar 31 23:13:58 1985 Date-Received: Fri, 5-Apr-85 12:21:09 EST Organization: Duke Physiology Lines: 22 [] I have fallen heir to an Extended Graphics Adapter card, and would like to do multiple fonts from the cursor (not graphics nor alpha) mode. The PC Seminar Proceedings paper (Vol. 2, Number 11, Nov. 1984) documents how to load custom character generators into the EGA card, and I have been able to load my own 256 character font as the default font without difficulty. There are, however, slots for four complete fonts. Once I load the four fonts, does anyone have any idea how I can access the three spare fonts? I would like, if possible, to store the full 1024 characters and access them in a fairly random manner. If this can be done in the cursor mode, I can write the routines to make most of my commercial programs run with several foreign alphabets. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
