Saw the Dead at Nassau Coliseum 3/29.  All in all, a great show, but with
a few surprises.  Jerry had shaved his beard and had a very conservative
haircut.  He was wearing a tweed jacket, oxford shirt, khakis, and loafers.
Donna Godchaux made her first appearance with the band in years and really
shocked the audience with a really hot rendition of "I Am Woman"!

Also, they played a few new songs, but they were very well done, especially
the polka medley.  For an encore, they did Wings' "Let 'em In!"  Some 
of the deadheads thought they were getting too conservative, but I still
say there's nothing like a Grateful Dead concert.

Also, one YES vote for net.music.dead!!
