On Lennon's song "Glass Onion", he says, "And here's another clue for you >>all/The Walrus was Paul." In some societies, the walrus was an image of death, I have a copy of an interview that John Lennon did with WNEW-FM in NY in 1974. This was just as the album with #9 Dream was coming out. He did about a three hour interview and played disc-jockey for awhile. It was a great time. He was in top form with his wit. Anyway, the subject came up about Glass Onion and I am the Walrus. John said he wrote I am the Walrus based very loosely about Lewis Carrol's books, because he liked the Walrus. Then later he found out the Walrus was a bad guy and he decided to change it by telling everyone that Paul was the Walrus. By the way, Glass Onion was written as a tribute to Paul by John for his help in trying to keep the group together after Brian Epstein has died. Well... that's what he said. Mark
