Starts off with a duet of guitar and english horn. Has been adapted to other forms, including a jazz version by Miles Davis (Sketches of Spain) and, if I recall correctly, an electronic rendition by Tomita. 2) Adagio from the Concerto in D minor for 2 violins by Bach. The Master shows here that he can wrench guts with the best of them (yuck). These pieces were "our song" for two long-ago romances, and that lends a certain impact to them for me.
