Both at the same time. Same with life. What's the problem? (NOW, you're telling me how I watch movies?) And I still fail to see why acknowledging the craft that went into the film (or the wondrous things that occure in the experience of life) diminishes the value of the "plot". It doesn't for me. By the way, I was both listening and thinking, despite your accusations. What I wasn't doing was agreeing.
