Message-ID: <493@terak.UUCP> Date: Mon, 8-Apr-85 18:25:54 EST Article-I.D.: terak.493 Posted: Mon Apr 8 18:25:54 1985 Date-Received: Thu, 11-Apr-85 04:25:49 EST Organization: Terak Corporation, Scottsdale, AZ, USA Lines: 23 *** Are there many Hobie (or similar blue water catamaran craft - like Prindle, Pcat, Tornado, etc.) out there in NETLANTIS? Since the season is upon us, discussions of regattas, margaritas, tuning, hull raising and red-neck fishermen, etc. would be appropriate. I'll start out by asking if anyone has rebuilt the hull edges of an H16 and has a success or failure to discuss. Mine are rather smoothed from 10 years of desert lakes (where the grains of sand are 2" diameter). I'm debating to rebuild the edges. Does it improve performance enough to warrant all the (apparent) work? Does it last? Is anyone there? -- Sincerely, *----* / / \ Dennis Kodimer / /still waiting for the *----* electrician or someone \ \just like him (or her). \ \ / *----* uucp: ...{decvax,hao,ihnp4,seismo}!noao!terak!dennis phone: 602 998 4800 us mail: Terak Corporation, 14151 N 76th street, Scottsdale, AZ 85260
