This was considered irrefutable, as Galileo found to his sorrow. I'm really curious as to why Mr. Gish and his fellow creationists believe that the case for special creation is any stronger than for a geocentric universe, if the *only* evidence is the Bible. The Bible's moral validity does *not* extend to science. This is not a criticism of the Bible, only of those who try to stretch it past its limits.
