San Diego, Academic Computer Center Lines: 9 Summary: Passover or not,enough brands of tortillas list lard as an ingredient to make me pause. Also, in the US, "vegetable shortening" is allowed to contain 2% non-vegetable shortening (guess what?) Furthermore, there was even a minor scandal in LA a few years ago, when a bakery was caught using animal shortening despite the label's claim of "vegetable shortening."
