Like Mr. Tucker of 14 Feb, I thought I'd try this method of tree climbing since I have no access to other sources right now; i.e., a query on a specific individual. If anyone has any information on the following, or would like to exchange information on related lines, I'd really like to hear from you. Does anyone know anything about the background of Laura Elizabeth(?) Phillips, born ca. 1830 in N.Y. or Mich; married Franklin Swift (his third, her first(?)) 5 Jan 1854 Mich. More specifically, they probably married in Wayne Co., Mich. F.S. and L.E.P. had only one child, as far as I know; my great-great-grandmother Lodorsca Adelaide Swift b. 1859 Ann Arbor. I can help with surnames like Willard, Swift (in Sandwich, Mass.), Wrampelmeier (Lodorsca married Theodore John Wrampelmeier 1879,Ann Arbor, Mich.), Booth (N.Y., Colorado), Farrar (Machias, N.Y.) and some others.
