(1) There are a significant number of females who are truly offended
by being called girls by males.

(2) There is a negligible number of females who are truly offended 
by being called women by males.

    Can you guess what logic dictates the considerate male should use?

Notice that this has no political implications.  It is just cold,
hard logic.  Now it is up to the common courtesy of the individual male
to determine what he uses.  

  Nice and simple, no?
