Okay, my personal opinion is that I find the use of the word boyfriend quite reprehensible. I want to be referred to as a male-friend. The term boy implies a subservient role not to mention a lack of maturity. I am going to get a few people to agree with me. Then we are going to demand that socially acceptable world behavior must change to accomodate us. Anyone caught using the word will be deemed unfit to interact with society until their etiquette meets minimum standards. Meanwhile we are going to go into a fit and scream and point fingers at anyone not being tolerant of our feelings. They should know better. Robert PS. Note that I do not object to the word boy or any derivative of it. I just couldn't resist the opportunity to practice some satire, poor though it may be.
