Well, I assume that you, of course, don't mind if a woman might have a similar rule: If he acts like a jerk, he's a "boy". Otherwise, he's a "man". I defined a "jerk" as a male who is excessively loud, constantly overbearing/condescending to any female in the area, doesn't show "common sense" when dealing with people (like calling women "girls"), etc. It is a pity that the "American Way" still creates jerks. What is the relevance of calling "bubbleheads" "girls" or "jerks" "boys"? Are these people supposed to be hurt in some way by your opinion? Are they supposed to care? Do you expect them to modify their behavior so that they get good marks in your book? Can't adults expect to be treated like adults? And furthermore, why is a "bubblehead" a "girl"? I suppose someone might claim that giggling is inherently childlike (adults merely snicker at funny movies, etc, and titter when nervous?), but why should a "girl" lean on just the males in an area? Why not all adult people, male and female? This seems to more nearly match the actions of children. Stating cut-off rules like this is pretty offensive. "For someone to qualify as a person, they have to meet MY standards." Ho ho ho. How immature! L S Chabot ...decwrl!dec-rhea!dec-amber!chabot chabot%amber.DEC@decwrl.ARPA
