Having just installed 2.10.2 news at ncoast, I tried putting the Xref: 
patches into inews.  It worked perfectly, *as inews*.  But as rnews, it pro-
ceeded to eat 100-plus articles before I realized the patch hadn't worked.

Besides that, I never did get all rn patches correctly installed; we got
about 3/4ths of them, and some would not install because others were missing.

If anyone can please MAIL me a full set of rn patches, I will be eternally
grateful.
