(cool?)... Changes at Shea do NOT include Astroturf (as noted in my original posting), a dome, or any extra seating. What they do include is bathroom overhaul (call it the Leon Hess factor), luxury boxes, and putting up glass (acrylic?!) barriers around the outside of the stasium, which will supposedly cut down on chilly breezes. I think there will also be some touch-up of drainage and the natural surface. I don't know if anything else is to be done. The deal also provided for two September football dates and cession of concession revenue from those dates to a hypothetical football team. David Rubin
