The question was, how could BC and Providence top their double-OT Hockey East championship game, featuring 65 saves by Chris Terreri, of two weeks ago? How about a *triple* overtime national semi-final game with an NCAA playoff record 62 saves by Terreri (who set the NCAA playoff record of 24 saves in a single period two years ago)? BC out-shot PC 39-7 over the second and third periods after Providence had scored three goals in just over two minutes in the first period. Tim Sullivan did play after all, and got an assist on the third goal. Terreri's performance wasn't quite as good as he's capable of - he gave up all of 3 goals in 65 shots. Still, not bad. That makes 219 shots, 9 goals in 4 games against Michigan State and BC for a .959 save percentage. Oh, and he played through the end of the third period and better than two overtimes with a cut on his face that required a few stitches later. I'm still going with RPI to take it all. But Terreri is really starting to scare me....
