	IRS has the Tele-Tax Information service, for information on a lot
	of aspects of federal tax. From certain areas automated refund
	information is available if you have mailed your tax return more
	than 10 weeks ago.

	For the number to call in your area lookup the booklet on
	"Instructions for preparing Form 1040" at page 46. It gives
	instructions on using the Tele-Tax information and also telephone
	numbers for all over the country.
