I need a pointer to an algorithm for finding the REAL roots of
a polynomial of degree 4 or less.  Working code would be wonderful,
pointers would be helpful.

We already have a routine to find all the COMPLEX roots of an
arbitrary polynomial, but this is a lot more general (read: slower)
than I would prefer, and has a tendency to make floating point exceptions.
