I have seen on the net some changes that were published for adding VPATH
to 'make'.  I have also seen a change to 'make' to support RCS which
concerns the time/date of the .c,v (or .h,v...) files that allow the 
capability to check out (read only) a file without changing the time/date,
but check out for mods and change the time/date.  I need this fix, but
I seem to have misplaced it.  Our systems manager does not keep copies
of any of the old net news, so I couldn't retrieve it from our netnews.
Possibly does someone out in netland still have these changes?
If so could you mail them to me?
