The story went something like this. He claimed that it had been a nice spring week in Minnesota, but the TV stations reported that it was snowing. He didn't like this slanderous coverage that the "eastern liberal press" was giving to Minnesota, so he marched over to see Garrison Cargill (Cargill Corp. is the sponsor or underwirter, whatever the term is in public TV and radio, of PHC), and got the money to buy CBS. Now Garrison is in control of CBS, and he's going to operate it with a conservative midwestern slant. And, of course, he's going to put his show on TV . . . Did I get it right? I don't listen very closely on Saturday nights either (with two kids around the dinner table, I miss a lot!), but I tape it and play it while commuting during the following week. If, upon rehearing it, I find that I haven't relayed the story correctly, I'll repost. Carl Blesch
