I, myself, have never been hit by a speeding tree but, I've been told that they occasionally get out of control and jump out in front of innocent hikers and woods-walkers. If this keeps up, somebody will have to invent seat belts for pedestrians. If you own a tree, or you know of a tree that is offending the environment, chain it to the ground; this way we can at least preserve our precious fuel resources.
