Yes folks as of 4/1/85 (or 1/4/85 for those ~3000 miles east) Apple
Computer will become a wholly owned subsidiary of AT&T. Apple will be required
to cease production of the macintosh in favor of a new workstation to
be called the EPOCH. The system will use a new OS, based on studies that 
humans need an OS with more ergonomic inputs, and as such it will offer mice
trackballs feetballs lightpens touchscreens joysticks and 
eyeball-movement-readers as standard equipment but NO keyboard. It has 
been proved that the keyboard slows humans 30% while composing text. 
Wow what an announcement! I still cannot believe it.
