Nothing to do, most of the time. > I mean they can eat anytime they want whereas I have one hour > to eat and get back to work. They can eat any time they want? You are suggesting, perhaps, that a parent has more free time than someone with no children? > Then the kid starts screamin his little face > off to boot (although that doesn't bother me nearly as much as waiting for > some mother with her three kids to finish eating so I can sit down for > my lunch). > Why can't these mothers continue doing their shopping till say 2pm? > This way those of us who work for a living and get one hour for lunch > won't have to wait (and inevitably be late getting back to work)!! > Melanie > ihnp4!mhuxt!techpub Right, continue shopping for 2-3 hours after the children start crying for lunch. If you want to hear real screaming, try *not* feeding a child for 2-3 hours after hunger strikes. I suppose it's OK for the screaming to disturb other shoppers? (Sounds like you really have 2 1/2 hours for lunch, since you don't want the mothers allowed in the restaurant from 11:30 until 2:00.) I suggest you build your own restaurant and only allow "desirable" people in. Or go to a different restaurant. Or make reservations. Or brown bag it. But who are you to decide who should be allowed in a restaurant (other than your own), and when? I suppose you think that mothers and children should be locked up at home until all the children are at least 5? Gary Samuelson ittvax!bunker!garys
