I posted this request about a month ago but have'nt received any responses, so I'm trying again. I am looking for a ZORK II hint. I have almost finished the game (380 points), and have gotten a little stuck. What should I do with the dogs collar? I have tried a few things but the best reponse I get is "The dog raises a couple of inches off the floor" . I know that cerberus can be found in the pentagram room ( even though I can not see him) but I can not seem to be able to do anything with him. Also I think I must be missing something about the maze of oddly angled rooms. The only thing I can find there is the club. Can the random directions be turned off there like in the other room? Any subtle hints will be appreciated. hou5e!rjp
