Is the chief's suit worth anything? Do I have > to give him the suit to follow him in the warren and find > the hidden room? As far as I remember, the Chief's suit is useless. He has something else of value, though. You only need the suit if the life support system isn't working. Yes, you must give him the suit or you won't be able to follow him. > 2) What is the secret to the strange codes in the maintenance room? > i.e., parallel wavy lines, and the three diagrams made > of dots? Hint: Think of what kinds of things there would be on a starship (think subsystems). As for the dots... draw them out on a piece of paper, and think back to high-school chemistry. > 3) Is there anything to the weasels hunting in the grassland? Should > I attack them? watch them? Buy them a drink? No, you can safely ignore the grazing creatures. > 4) What is the object of this game anyway? To repair the ship (i.e. get the various subsystems going) and ultimately learn to pilot it to a useful destination. The rods you find are *all* essential (except perhaps one of them). Do everything you can, and you'll gradually discover things. Best of luck. -- -Bernie Roehl (University of Waterloo) ...decvax!watmath!wateng!broehl
