The religous bent is not surprising since Davey and Goliath was produced by the Luthern Church of America. The emphasis was on the more widely accepted concepts within Christianity (love thy neaighbor, relationship with God and your fellow man etc) rather than any specific doctrine or creed. Hadn't you noticed Luther's symbol, the 5-petaled rose at the end of each episode? Good (but not great) stop-motion animation. Somewhat watered-down plots.... but friendly and enjoyable to watch. -- UUCP: ...{decvax,ihnp4,allegra}!seismo!trwatf!root - Lord Frith ARPA: trwatf!root@SEISMO "And Frith made the world"
