Lines: 31 Ok, I'll try to make myself clearer. I responded to an 'article' that was flaming a request for the meaning of 'rc'. Well first of all, I did not send the article, and what I did say was this : New users are *NOT* getting information regarding these commonly asked questions. Yes, *I KNOW* that the answers are posted regularly on net.announce.whatever... but you *CANNOT* expect a new user to know this. Therefore : Some method of destributing this information to a new user needs to be developed. Granted, it may already exist somewhere, but not here. And again I say I am not a new user, but new enough to know I did not get it when I started. Now, if it is not being distributed to new users here, then I'm sure that the exists some other site where new users are not getting this info. So *PLEASE* stop flaming everybody who asks a 'stupid' question. If anything, yell at the people in charge of making sure new users get this info. And finally, please remember that I am trying to defend some of the other people that are now in positions most of us where in some umpteen years ago. I have to admit that tact is usually exhibited, but sometimes.... Well anyway, I've said enough. Thanx,
