I have a chance to get a VCR for a great price - $100.  It is an RCA
and has four heads, 4 event/14 day timer, wireless remote and most 
anything else you'd want on a VCR.  The reason the price is so cheap 
is that is has a cosmetic flaw - there is a nasty scratch on the serial 
number.

Wish that the above was my own, but I didn't write it.  Mark ? did.
