The winner of the Portland (Ore) laugh-off was commenting on his child:

     She decided that shee needed a big persons bed instead of a crib.
     So we got her a big persons bed and I got a three foot alarm
     clock with no snooze button.

He goes on to say...

     But we solved that problem.  Ever hear of Velcro Sheets?
     They are kind of expensive, but with what you save in babysitters...
