Carolina at Chapel Hill Lines: 12 I remember when I was back in grade school. I was quite shy around girls, even though I tried everything to be popular. One day I was in the school library and I stumbled onto a book titled "How to Hug." I was convinced that this would solve my romantic problems. Very excitedly I carried the book to the front desk, printed my name and homeroom number on the front flap, and was then surprised that they would only allow me to borrow it for one night. I decided that this "one night only" rule clearly meant that this was a great book, and so I hurried home, ran upstairs to my room, and opened it to the first page ... of the ninth volume of the Encyclopaedia Brittanica.
