The VTERM transfers text and binary files from the UNIX system perfectly. I can't transfer text or binary files from the IBM-PC to the UNIX system. The file transfer fails on the first block and umodem.log indicates that it is having checksum errors. I have used the VTERM and IBM-PC with XMODEM on a VAX VMS system and they transfer perfectly both ways. I think that UNIX is doing something to the input. I have tried STTY RAW with no luck. I'm stuck. I would appreciate any help available on the net. Thanks, Jim Harmon harmonj@MARLIN -------
