You should not post MacWrite 4.0, for 3 reasons: 1) MacWrite is not a public domain program. 2) Version 4.0 is not the final released version; there is already a version 4.3. You would be doing a disservice to people by posting software that is known to have bugs. 3) When the final version is available (which should be shortly), people can just go into their dealers and get the upgraded MacWrite for free. There is no reason to cause a lot of net traffic posting a large program when it will be much easier (and more reliable) for people to get it from dealers. I am trying to get one of the people in charge of our software library to write up a list of the version numbers of all released software. Hopefully, that will be forthcoming in a week or so. -- Larry Rosenstein UUCP: {nsc, dual, voder, ios}!apple!lsr CSNET: lsr@Apple.CSNET
