I believe that at least one new IBM micro product will be
the PC 2, a "die shrink" so to speak of the PC.  In a
recent Electronic Engineering Times a friend here in 
Honolulu pointed out an announcement of a box with
PC guts, standard serial and parallel ports (a la 
Columbia, et al.) built in, but occupying only one (1)
square foot of desk area!.  This PC will be made by
IBM, and will apparently replace the PC, and perhaps the
PC Jr.  Other sources here do confirm that the Jr. is dead.
