In answer to a query, XENIX for the PC/AT runs in protected (286)
mode and makes full use of the 286 protection/tasking hardware.

By the way, the "three user limit" is not a license or software issue...
the machine is licensed for (i believe) 16 users.  The "3" is just the
sum of two serial ports plus one console - the "standard max" configuration.
Add more serial ports, get more users.
