To the question of who's Signe Anderson:
10 people recognized her as the original female vocalist for
the Jefferson Airplane.
2 recognized the name as belonging to a political cartoonist
in California.
One said she was his aunt (and what's she done now?)
One reply came from Sweden said there are dozens of 'em there.

The major talent I refered to belonged to the one with the Airplane,
and I'm elated that there were so many netters who knew.

She is the subject of one of my favorite legends:
they say that she went into labor during a concert, left to have
her baby, then returned in time to finish the gig.  She then
quit the group to raise the child.  I love it.

If anyone knows the facts, and they are different from the legend.
please keep them to yourself, or post them to net.religion.
