Lines: 20 Xref: watmath net.music:6947 net.misc:7821 Summary: As best I recall, this was created by Don Imus, a rather deranged DJ in the New York City area. This was the theme song for his character Billy-Sol Hargass,(possible misspelled) who preached for the First Church of the Gooey Death and Discount House of Worship, located in Del Rio, Texas. The character was so well developed, that Billy-Sol "wrote" a book entitled "God's Other Son." I don't have the publication date or author, though. I don't care if it rains or freezes, Long as I got my plastic Jesus riding on the dashboard of my car... I can go a'hundred miles an hour, long as I got the alimighty power glued up there by my pair of fuzzy dice. Mr. Imus was still on the air in New York last I knew (December '84), and as sick and funny as ever. WNBC-AM used to have him; don't recall if he's still there. Jason Zions
